Damages and Missing Items

Damage and missing items refers to any hire equipment returned in a condition different to how it was supplied, excluding fair wear and tear. This includes broken, chipped, cracked, burnt, stained, bent, torn, water damaged, heavily scratched, or unusable items, along with any products, packaging, crates, transport cages, accessories, or components that are not returned at the end of the hire period. Items returned requiring excessive cleaning, specialist restoration, repair, or sorting may also be treated as damaged. Charges may apply where equipment cannot be returned to hire stock condition or where items are missing following the returns and checking process.
